How to Install Shower Head?

It takes only a couple of minutes and anywhere from $25-40 to turn your shower into your private spa. The head seems it can be screwed off by hand, but you'll need a wrench that will strongly grip it. The pipe wrench makes the job so easy; however, the wrench may cost $25 or more.

Wrap the threads on the pipe with pipe tape. Only wrap the tape around 2 or 3 times. The tape costs $1 at any home improvement store.

You need to only need 2-3 inches of the tape. You might borrow some from a workman mate if you would like to save a buck. Screw the new shower head on firmly. Use the wrench to guarantee the tightest fit.

The following is the tips on installing hand held shower head. Upgrade your old wall mounted shower head with a new 'European' style hand held shower head.

Start by removing the old wall mounted shower and cleaning the threads of the shower stem which sticks out from the wall. An old wet towel is fine for cleaning the threads of the stem. When you have cleaned the shower stem, conscientiously wrap new Teflon tape round the threads. Encase in a clockwise direction, so when you thread the shower head on the tape will not unravel.

Attach the shower head holder to the shower stem. Then attach the shower hose to the shower holder. Now attach the shower head to the shower hose, again tightening as before.
